Leadership Embodiment, and Cultivating Presence, Confidence & Compassion
Next class Fall 2026
Research shows that 70% of communication is nonverbal. Learning to align what is being communicated verbally, physically and energetically creates a unified and magnetic message that is clear and powerful.
Fundamentals courses are an opportunity to get to know our "signature" stress patterns without story or content. In the LE model we study how our physical and energetic systems organize under pressure and we offer simple practices that shift our systems to a more skillful state so that we can choose how we want to respond to a situation and change the way we act, think, and speak.
Through simple physical exercises that apply light pressure, we are able to recognize the patterns that arise when we are under pressure. Once we are familiar with our pattern, we apply centering practices to help us shift to a more creative, compassionate and skillful state. Working in pairs, we chunk down learning exercises to create a lasting imprint in the body. Individual debrief and group discussions create a dynamic learning container.
These teachings are easily applied inside Families, with Teens, Couples, Teachers, Schools, Health Care, Medicine, and Business and in Daily Life.

Wendy Palmer, the founder of Leadership Embodiment, died on Friday, 2 December 2022. She devoted her life to practicing the techniques she developed. Through her teaching, she touched and inspired many people in her lifetime, making the principles of Aikido, neuroscience and mindfulness available and applicable. She developed simple and profound practices to help us shift into a more resourceful state when under pressure, so we can respond with grace to challenging situations and make a positive contribution. Wendy’s humour and humanity will be missed. Her practical wisdom will live on in Leadership Embodiment. Her co creator and daughter Tiphani carries on the work of Wendy's, through her presence and in her service and commitment.
